Heartland EMS for Children Coalition is hosting a 3-part virtual human trafficking symposium on January 18, 25, and 27, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Each session is different, and attendees can register for each separately and view one or a combination. FREE Nursing/EMS/physician/NP/PA continuing education hours are provided (2.5 hours for each session).
Tuesday, January 18, 6:30-9:00 pm: Learn how to provide trauma informed care with SANE certified RN Jennifer Canton, and hear from trafficking survivor and mentor Mary Jackson, and navigator Wagner Larson-Silva. Register Here
Tuesday, January 25 6:30-9:00 pm: Understand the role of “Big Tech” in trafficking with Anti-Human Trafficking Coordinator Teresa Davidson, and then hear from a survivor and advocate Heather Brown. Register Here
