Chains Interrupted can assist victims get to a safe place and help with immediate needs (food, clothing, shelter, medical care, etc.).

Restoration Stages for Survivors

Once out of “the life” there are three phases in housing for restoration:

  1. Emergency crisis shelter
  2. Long-term restoration “Safe House”
  3. Transition housing from a restoration home to a self-sufficient life

Transition Housing

Our organization will provide housing to help survivors in the third phase of restoration housing. Assistance may include:

    1. Sliding scale rent
    2. Assistance with the cost of daily living
    3. Assistance with counseling, education, seeking employment, medical care, child care, legal services, etc.
    4. Survivor advocacy

Survivor Support Services

Our support group is a survivor-led group open to women survivors of sex or labor trafficking at no cost to participants. It provides a safe, comforting environment for survivors to talk with others who understand. The group meets weekly. Meals and childcare are provided. For more information, email Teresa.
