Chains Interrupted can assist victims get to a safe place and help with immediate needs (food, clothing, shelter, medical care, etc.).
Restoration Stages for Survivors
Once out of “the life” there are three phases in housing for restoration:
- Emergency crisis shelter
- Long-term restoration “Safe House”
- Transition housing from a restoration home to a self-sufficient life
Our organization will provide housing to help survivors in the third phase of restoration housing. Assistance may include:
- Sliding scale rent
- Assistance with the cost of daily living
- Assistance with counseling, education, seeking employment, medical care, child care, legal services, etc.
- Survivor advocacy
Survivor Support Services
Our support group is a survivor-led group open to women survivors of sex or labor trafficking at no cost to participants. It provides a safe, comforting environment for survivors to talk with others who understand. The group meets weekly. Meals and childcare are provided. For more information, email Teresa.
