About the event
Human trafficking is the second largest and fastest‑growing organized crime in the United States. It’s happening here, too.
The Vinton Public Library is hosting two presentations by Chains Interrupted —one designed for adults and one tailored for youth (ages 12+) —to help protect our community’s most vulnerable.
Both sessions will cover:
what trafficking really looks like
how traffickers target victims, including local methods
practical tools to recognize danger and respond safely
